Yahya Abdul-Mateen Set To Star in ‘The Matrix 4’

The Matrix 4 might just had commenced production but already has a lot of fans anticipating the return of the groundbreaking franchise. Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has landed a role to in the Lana Wachowski-directed movie along side Reeves and Moss who will reprise their role as Neo and Trinity.
According to reports, Yahya will be playing a secret role many speculate to be the son or younger version of Lawrence Fishburn’s Morpheus, although the role he will be playing is not guaranteed, the actor has reportedly met with the director, Keanu Reeves, and Carrie-Anne Moss in secret and it would appear Abdul-Mateen has emerged as the frontrunner for the role.
The Matrix set the path for most movies in terms of tricks and the use of technology, there is no doubt that Lana Wachowski will try to exceed expectations and deliver something totally breathtaking.
