Usain Bolt has announced that his debut music album ‘Country Yutes’ will be arriving on September 3 via his record label 9.58 Records. The sprint star, back in “Living The Dream,” a collaboration with his manager NJ, back in January.
The 35 years old retired from his sprint career in 2017, since then he has focused on his family and his football career, scoring a few goals for A-League club Central Coast Mariners but however, turned down a professional contract in November 2019.
“I don’t want to say it wasn’t dealt with properly, but I think we went about it, not the way we should and you learn your lesson, you live and you learn. It was a good experience. I really enjoyed just being in a team and it was different from track and field and it was fun while it lasted.
“I’m just doing many different things … the sports life is over, so I’m now moving into different businesses, I have a lot of things in the pipeline, so as I say, I’m just dabbling in everything and trying to be a business man now.”
Bolt is now ready to dive into the next phase of his life, posting the artcover, release date and pre-order links for his new album Country Yutes. “Country Yutes. Debut Album. Pre-Save 03.09.21,” he captioned his post with three lightning bolt emojis.
