The shooting incidence took place on July 12 while the Megan was out with rapper Tory Lanez. Facts surrounding the incidence are still still unclear but according to early reports, she was out parting with Tory and another woman, the three were in a car when police pulled them over after a report of gunfire outside a second party.

Previous reports had it that Megan had a cut on her foot from the broken glass of the car. The singer later revealed in an Instagram live session that she was shot and had to go through surgery. She later posted photos of the gunshot wounds.

Last month, Megan however accused the rapper of shooting her for “no reason.” “Yes, this ni**a Tory shot me. You shot me. And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and shit. Stop lying,” she said.
