Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion were out parting on July 12. The two had reportedly left Kylie Jenner’s party and were in a car with another unknown woman outside a second party when police pulled them over after a report of gunfire.
Early reports said Megan had a cut on her foot from the broken glass of the car and Tory was helping her but eventually she got listed as a victim and he was arrested. Reports suggest that Police have opened an assault with a deadly weapon case against Tory but the Canadian rapper-singer has not been arrested yet.
Megan came out on August 19 and claimed that she was shot by Tory for no reason and didn’t injure herself from broken glass as early reports pointed out, while also sharing photos of her gunshot wounds.
“Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the sh– YALL make up,” she wrote in the caption. “I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad ? Why y’all upset that I can walk ?”
She continued: “I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1… I usually don’t address internet bullsh– but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION.”
Tory Lanez has been surprisingly quiet about the whole incident occurred. The rapper on Thursday, told fans that he will be addressing the situation at midnight ET but we were not sure whether it would be a statement, an Instagram Live session or a new song.
Tory dropped an entire album addressing the shooting on numerous tracks. On one of the songs ‘Money Over Fallouts.’ Tory claims he can prove that he didn’t shoot Megan.
“Girl you had the nerve to write that statement on that affidavit / knowing I ain’t do it but I’m coming out my truest / trying to keep this sh*t 200 with you / shorty I can prove it but them people in your ear, they the true ones that I fear,” he raps on the song.
