Tory Lanez not guilty Megan Thee Stallion

A lawyer for Tory Lanez whose legal name is Daystar Peterson has on behalf of the rapper, on Wenesday, entered a not guilty plea in the alleged shooting of fellow hiphop artist Megan Thee Stallion on the night of July 12, at 4:30a.m. near the 1800 block of Nichols Canyon Road in the Hollywood Hills, according to police documents.

Tory is been charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. This comes after a judge issued a protective order against Tory. He must remain at least 100 yards away from Megan and not contact her. He must also surrender any guns he owns.

The two were out partying on the night of July 12 when the incidence took place, facts surrounding the incidence are still unclear but at the time, initial reports said Megan was out parting with Tory and another woman, the three were in a car when police pulled them over after a report of gunfire outside a second party.

Reports also claimed Megan had injured her foot from broken glass only for the rapper to come out later and accuse Tory Lanez of shooting her for no reason.

“no reason.” “Yes, this ni**a Tory shot me. You shot me. And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and shit. Stop lying,” she said.

Megan in a recent interview claimed the ‘Daystar‘ rapper offered her money to stay quiet about the shooting but she refused.

“[At this point] I’m really scared,” Meg said, “because this is like right in the middle of all the protesting. Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I’m thinking, ‘I can’t believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.’”

Tory denied the accusation.
