It seems fans who have been anticipating the release of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and ‘A Quiet Place 2’ will have to wait a little longer as both release dates have been pushed to 2021.
A Quiet Place Part II will now be released on April 23, 2021 instead of September 6, 2020. Top Gun: Maverick will also be released on July 2, 2021 instead of December 23, 2020. as announced by Paramount.
“We truly believe that there is no movie-viewing experience like the one enjoyed in theatres,” Paramount President of Domestic Distribution Chris Aronson said.
“We are committed to the theatrical experience and our exhibition partners, and want to stress that we are confident that, when the time comes, audiences everywhere will once again enjoy the singular joy of seeing Paramount films on the big screen,” he added.
The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic has greatly affected the movie industries as fans are unable to visit cinemas forcing release dates of several major movies to be pushed back.
