A few weeks ago Skip Marley joined School of Rock to cover his late fathers joyful reggae ballad “Three Little Birds,” 40 years after Bob first sang it.
Today, another of Bob’s songs Ziggy Marley has united with Toots and the Maytals and Ringo Starr for a more fulfilling cover of the song.
The song will appear on Toots and the Maytals’ forthcoming studio album Got To Be Tough, scheduled to arrive streaming platforms comes August 28th via Trojan Jamaica/BMG.
“This album is speaking out about injustices while pointing to a better time,” Hibbert told Rolling Stone back in July. “This album is teaching a path to recovery and step to better days on the journey ahead. This album Got to Be Tough is a bind builder of positive objectives.”
