A video clip surfaced earlier online, the new video showed ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic angrily ranting that he is not allowed or free to say the N-word while black people use it as much as they want, referring to the situation as pathetic.
“What’s going on in this country? It’s absolutely pathetic.
I can’t say the n-word but you can get on YouTube and watch any black man’s video and they’re calling each other the n-word. What the hell?” He continued, “Is this discrimination? I’m white, I can’t say the n-word and they can?”
Now the shows director Rebecca Chaiklin has told The Hollywood Reporter that Joe Exotic is categorically a racist also revealing that “He said things when we were filming that were very unsettling.”
“Yes. Joe is a racist, I would say categorically,”
“I think most of it was ignorance and not having a lot of exposure and I think he even evolved over the course of the time that we filmed,” Regardless of how he’s portrayed in the docuseries, Exotic is “ecstatic” over his newfound fame. “Joe has called me quite a few times over the last few days and weeks,” She added when asked why why they chose not to address this aspect of Exotic’s persona.
