The Weeknd has taken to social media to announce that he will be releasing a new song and video tonight, the song is titled ‘Take My Breath’. The singer previously shared a commercial he’s a part of for the Tokyo Olympics featuring Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad, Athing Mu and Gabrielle Thomas with the song as the soundtrack.
“The dawn is finally upon us – new single/video tonight!” he captioned the art cover of the song. The Weeknd has been teasing his new album being Abel vs. being The Weeknd for some time now, the song is the first to surface from the upcoming project.
The singer recently cleared his Instagram page in anticipation of his new album, in an interview with GQ, Abel revealed that he will like to work with the likes of Kanye and Tyler.
“I’d love to work with Arca. Arca’s great. I’d love to work with Kanye again. Especially on production. I got mad love for Tyler, The Creator and what he’s doing right now.”
