The Weeknd has been teasing his Super Bowl LV Halftime performance ever since it was announced that he will be holding it down and he did not hesitate to make every second count. This follows his recent compilation album called The Highlights which has some of his greatest hits on it.
To make sure that the sure went according to his plans, The Canadian singer donated millions of dollars towards the show’s success, setting up his stand right next to the Raymond James Stadium pirate ship.
“Due to COVID and for the safety of the players and the workers we kind of built the stage within the stadium and we’re also using the field as well but we wanted to kind of do something that we’ve never done before,” he said. “So we built the stage in the stadium but I’m not gonna tell you anything else because you’ll have to watch on Sunday.”
He performed ‘Starboy’, ‘The Hills’, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, ‘I Feel It Coming’, ‘Save Your Tears’, ‘Earned It’, ‘House Of Balloons’, and ‘Blinding Lights’ for an incredible medley.
