Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer Dawn Florio has showed concern over the rappers safety after he finish serving his sentence as he has refused witness protection. He is worried 6ix9ine will be a target for gang members.
“I’m concerned,” Florio, told the New York Post in an article published on Sunday (June 21). “Lots of people condemn Danny for cooperating with the government. Even a young gang member who wants to make a name for himself could try something.”
When his house arrest is complete, the rapper plans to relocate out of New York to a safer location and hire bodyguards to hold him down. “He’s in great spirits but I won’t rest easy until he’s located in a different state with 24-hour security,” Florio added.
6ix9ine got an early release from jail due to the coronavirus pandemic, tho the rapper has continued serving the remainder of his sentence at home. The rapper has being a constant target for fellow rappers and online trolls ever since court documents exposed him for working with the investigators and snitching against his former crew, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in hopes of an early release.
