“Surprise š¤ Tonight at midnight Iāll be releasing my 8th studio album, folklore; an entire brand new album of songs Iāve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into.” She wrote on Thursday, July 23.
The album serves as the followup to her 2019’s ‘Lover‘ album which featured only two artist, Dixie Chicks on āSoon Youāll Get Betterā, and Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco on āMeā. The whole albs recorded in secret so we are not certain of guest appearances, guess we just have to wait and see.
The last time Taylor was in the news was back in March when she called out rapper Kanye West after her 2016 phone call with him leaked online.
On the leaked tape, Taylor was not heard giving Kanye permission to refer to her with the B-word on the song āFamousā as Kanye had earlier. Check out that story here. Coincidentally, Kanye West has also released a new album titled ‘Donda: With Child,’.
