Swae Lee I’ll Be Missing You

A lot of rappers and celebrities have been at the forefront of the ongoing protest in demand for justice for the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer.

The protest erupted to gigantic heights after Video footage showed Floyd face down on the pavement as a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck. After repeatedly telling the officer he couldn’t breathe, Floyd became unresponsive and was pronounced dead shortly after.

We have heard songs from YG, Meek Mill and many others condemning the act and calling on the authorities to act in accordance to the law. Swae Lee has now shared a snippet of his forthcoming song titled ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ in honor of Floyd.

The song is a cover of Puff Daddy, Faith Evans & 112’s 1997 classic ‘I’ll Be Missing You’.
