American Rapper Pop Smoke has reportedly been arrested on a federal charge of interstate transport of a stolen vehicle on Friday at John F. Kennedy Airport. He had just returned to New York from Paris Fashion Week.
According to TMZ, Pop Smoke reportedly met with the owner of the Rolls-Royce at a recording studio in Los Angeles in the month of November.
Both parties agreed that Pop Smoke could use the car for one of his upcoming videos. In exchange, the rapper would provide the owner VIP treatment at a future show.
The owner of the car reportedly asked Pop Smoke to return the car the next day but he failed to do so, which lead the owner to track the car using GPS to a location in Arizona and reported it stolen to the authorities.
The car is worth an estimated $375,000 and has since been returned to the owner, the law enforcement official said.
