The gravesite where late rapper Pop Smoke was buried is now a crime scene as the ‘Dior’ rapper’s grave was found completely destroyed by vandals, marks around the site suggest the vandals were either trying to drag the casket out or take something from the grave, it is still unclear what their motives were.
An eyewitness said they stumbled upon the destroyed grave early hours Saturday morning at the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY and reported the incident to the police who were at the time unaware. The witness also said they returned hours later to find Pop Smoke’s plaque had been replaced with a blank slab, and there was caution tape around the area.
The outer wall of the marble mausoleum was cracked and nearly broken through, according to TMZ. Other debris was also found near the rapper’s final resting place, with burned and broken joints found in the area.
