altered carbon season 2 netflix release date announcement trailer

Netflix presents us with the official release date for the second season of it’s highly anticipated sci-fi film Altered Carbon.

The movie which originally aired back in February 2018 takes us 350 years into the future, where human beings have been technologically reduced to storage devices while their consciousness can be transferred from body to body. Giving off similar vibes to Ghost in the Shell.

Altered Carbon had an amazing first season and it looks like netflix has everything in place to give viewers a better second season. The premier date was unveiled today via the series official twitter account, along with a minor teaser trailer. To keep fans on the edges of their seats.

From the teasers we have seen, Kovacs will continue on the quest to find his missing lover, Quellcrist Falconer, played by Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Take a look at Season 2’s episode titles below and let us know what comes to mind. All 8 episodes of Altered Carbon’s second season will be released on Netflix on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
