Major Lazer has released a remix of The Weeknd’s chart topping single ‘Blinding Lights,’ the song alongside ‘Heartless‘ were the first to arrive off the singers recently released ‘After Hours‘ studio album.
Shortly after the release of the ‘After Hours,’ The Weeknd release the deluxe version offering 5 new remixes of ‘Blinding Lights,’ ‘Heartless remix with Lil Uzi Vert,’ ‘After Hours, the blaze remix, and a Saturday Night Live version of ‘Scared to Live’ that he performed earlier this month.
Blinding Lights remix first came to our attention when Diplo shared a bit of the song while on Instagram Live. Lazer’s remix is crafted to perfection for the clubs as he adds a dancehall vibe that only slightly shifts the genre while somehow changing the entire energy of the song.
On March 31, the singer topped both the Billboard Artist 100, Billboard Hot 100 & Billboard 200 charts at the same time. The last time Canadian reached such a peak was in 2005.
