Nicki Minaj has released her first single of 2020. She comes through with a fresh new tune titled “Yikes,” and it’s not the diss track you were expecting.
Fans were expecting the ‘Queen’ rapper to deliver a diss track after her recent feud with ex-boyfriend Meek Mill heightened. Meek Mill also released a song “Believe” with no mention of her name.
On February 5th, 2020, she took to social media to call out Meek after he reportedly liked a tweet of a meme about Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty.
“You a [clown]. U do IT for likes,” Minaj wrote on her Instagram story. “#TwitterFingers beats women, scared of men.”
“You beat your own sister and taped it. Spit on her & taped it. Kicked me in front your mother and sent her to the hospital. Sucking drake dick made u feel tough again. Move on.”
Meek Mill did not waste time in defending himself as he tweeted. “The only way you can try to kill my career is to say I beat women … talk about ya brother convicted of rape and you been knew and paid for his lawyer … ya little brother touched that lil girl too! You know I know … you want me to crash with ya boyfriend and I won’t,” Meek wrote.
“Yeah (Sheesh, go), I keep two nines, yeah (Sheesh) // You see my face all over that Fendi design, yeah // Soon as niggas press you, boy, you throw up peace signs, yeah // You don’t want that action, pull your cards, you decline, yeah // Uh (Woo, woo), I keep two dimes, yeah (Woo, woo) // Walk up to a bad bitch, be like, “I think you fine,” yeah.” Nicki raps on Yikes.
