E-40 and Too Short are scheduled to go head to head in a VERZUZ battle tonight. For the main time, the duo team up to gift fans with a new buddle album Ain’t Gone Do It / Terms and Conditions.
The bundle project consist of 20 tracks, 10 from each artist, the album is a compilation of Too Short’s 22nd solo studio album Ain’t Gone Do It featuring appearances from E-40, G-Eazy, Guapdad 4000, Mistah F.A.B., Rayven Justice, Bosslife Big Spence, Tiny MD and Reg Black as well as production from Nonstop Da Hitman, ProHoeZak, Ekzakt, Syrum and AyDiosMio, among others.
And E-40’s 27th solo studio erms and Conditions featuring collaborations with Too $hort, Freddie Gibbs, G-Eazy, Brent Faiyaz, Gashi, Drakeo the Ruler, Larry June, Symba, Capolow, Pimpin Ken, Trae Suave, Blxst, Turf Talk and Stresmatic and more along with production from Mally Mall, Helluva, Scoop DeVille, Rick Rock, Bedrock and Lil Rece, among others.
The forthcoming VERZUZ by the two Bay area finest is a celebration of all the accomplishment and friendship as both artist have nothing to prove.
“We’re going to showcase what the unlaced has yet to see or hear,” 40 said. “It’s not just a battle,” $hort added. “It’s not just displaying your catalog, trying to outdo somebody else. It was like, ‘This could be a bigger situation for the Bay, just as far as the story being told.’”
