Lil Baby released his ‘My Turn’ album back in February via Quality Control Music / Wolfpack Global / Motown Records. The project featured guest appearances from Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo and many others. The deluxe followed shortly after with 6 bonus songs.

Today, September 11, RIAA has awarded the album with a 2x platinum certification. This makes Lil Baby the first and only artist of 2020 to go double-platinum in the U.S. His label has also revealed that the rapper has amassed over 20 Billion streams globally.

In celebration of his new momentous height, the Atlanta, Georgia born artist is releasing a video for his song ‘Forget That’ featuring 4PF label artist Rylo Rodriguez.

Back in March, 2020, Lil Wayne named him his favorite artist. “On The Breakfast Club, I saw my favorite artist Lil Baby with the BAPE/Coach collaboration jacket,” Weezy said. “And I was like, ‘Is that a Coach? Wifey was like, ‘Bathing Ape collabed with Coach?’ She’s into that, so she’s like Coach is pretty such and such and such … So, they doing things. Shout out to Bathing Ape.” Guess we now know why.
