Back in January, Kodak Black’s lawyer Bradford Cohen revealed after a visit that the rapper was working on a new album while incarcerated, this was at the time the rapper was moved from Miami prison to an Oklahoma Federal Transition Center.
“We will address the issues in FDC Miami in good time,” Cohen wrote. “It was good to see [Kodak] and he was in good spirits. He is working on new projects and reading. He wants to thank all of you for the support.”
Although Kodak is still facing a lot of legal issues, he is not letting that get between him and his music as he has announced through his legal team that he will be releasing a new studio album titled Bill is Real on November 11 via streaming platforms.
Kodak Black was sentenced to a year in federal prison after pleading guilty to attempted second degree criminal possession of a weapon in New York.
