incarcerated rapper Kodak Black is reportedly in good spirit and has been busy working on a new project according to his lawyer Bradford Cohen.
Cohen took to Instagram to offer updates to fans after he met with the rapper in an Oklahoma Federal Transition Center, a week after Kodak was removed from his Miami prison.
He Wrote. “We will address the issues in FDC Miami in good time,” Cohen wrote. “It was good to see [Kodak] and he was in good spirits. He is working on new projects and reading. He wants to thank all of you for the support.”
These comes after the rapper was allegedly abuse at a Miami federal prison, accusing the guards of “strategically” conspiring to kill him and claiming that hat he was denied visitation by his mother and girlfriend, that his mail was being tampered with and that he had received an empty tray for New Year’s breakfast.
“Lieutenant F. Arroyo has been very vindictive towards me and I have a strong feeling it has something to do with me being set up, laced, bruised and brutally beaten two weeks before my court date,” he wrote earlier this month. “There is a big conspiracy going on in this building. Me. Santiago Torres is using her position wrongfully in Miami FDC and is abusing her authority. She has been writing falsified incident reports on me, to take phone privileges that I get once a week while in solitary.”
