Fans thought Kanye West’s new album “Jesus Is King” will drop on friday Sep. 27th, but the entire day passed without the album hitting streaming services as promised but it seems fans won’t have to wait much longer according to Kim Kardashian. She said on her Instagram Stories that the project will now drop on Sunday, Sept. 29. Kim claimed Kanye is now adding “final tweaks” to the mixes.
Kim has being in the forefront of sharing info concerning the album, she recently teased the project, promising it’s arriver on Friday but reports later confirmed on Wednesday that Kanye was once again going to be late as he has been with most of his projects.
Instead Kanye hosted a special Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience—an album listening event with a visual component—at Detroit’s Fox Theatre. The Motor City apparently won’t be the only metropolis to hear Kanye’s new project before Sunday: Kardashian also said Kanye is holding listening sessions in his hometown of Chicago Saturday and New York City on Sunday. Another one of her Stories said that an IMAX film accompanying Jesus Is King will hit theaters in October.
