Kehlani has released her highly anticipated studio album titled ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t‘ which she has been teasing for some time now. The new 15 track offering comes with guest appearances from Jhene Aiko, Tory Lanez, James Blake, Masego and Lucky Daye.
The singer kicked off the campaign April 30th with the release of ‘F&MU‘ then later revealed the heated tracklist which got fans wanting more.
Kehlani also revealed during an interview that Canadian rapper Drake helped her come up with the projects name. “We’re just having like, a life conversation, talking about the old music and all. And then I was just talking about personal life, I was just like, ‘Man, yeah it was good until it wasn’t’ and he was like, ‘Say that sh*t again,’ and I was like ‘What?’ and he was like ‘That’s your album.’ And then I was like, ‘You might be f*ckin’ right.’”
