Kacey Musgraves New Album Star-Crossed

Kacey Musgraves is going all in, the multitalented singer/songwriter has announced the release of her new album ‘Star-Crossed’. To set things in motion for the project’s arrival, she has shared a new song of the same title.

The album set to arrive on September 10 via Interscope Records / Polydor / UMG Nashville will be arriving with an accompanying film on Paramount+ directed by Bardia Zenali.

‘Star-Crossed’ is the follow-up to her 2018’s Golden Hour, although the project won the album of the Year at the 2019 Grammys, it was about her love for her Ex, Ruston Kelly. The new album takes inspiration from the break-up as well as from prominent stars such as Bill Withers, Sade, the Eagles, Shakespeare and a transformational magic mushroom trip.

“If you would’ve told me the night of the Grammys, ‘Hey, in two years, you’re going to be divorced and have a whole ’nother album written,’ I would have been like, ‘Fuck off. No. No way.’ ” She said in an interview with Elle Magazine.
