YoungBoy Never Broke Again was arrested on September 28, in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Los Angeles along with 15 others.
The rapper, real name, Kentrell Gaulden, was hit with Three drug charges: possession of schedule 1 drugs, distribution/manufacturing of schedule 2 drug and distribution/manufacturing of schedule 4 drug.
The arrest was reportedly made after LA police responded to a report that members of street gangs by the names of Never Broke Again and Bottom Boy Guerillas were brandishing firearms and filming a video.
The police carried out a search during which YoungBoy with $47,100, some jewelry and a cashier’s check reportedly worth $300,000 were found and seized by the police.
A court judge has now ordered (December 17) that $47,000 in cash and several pieces of jewelry and the signed check seized by the Baton Rouge Police Department be returned to the rapper or his lawyer immediately.
