J. Cole Drops First Song From The Off-Season Album ‘Interlude’

J. Cole took to Twitter on On Thursday (May 6), to announce that he will be releasing a new song titled Interlude from his highly anticipated forthcoming album ‘The Off-Season’ at midnight.
“Told myself I would drop the album all at once,” he wrote. “Sometimes you gotta say fuck it tho. New song tonight. 12 o’clock.”

And just as promised the new song Interlude is now available for streaming on all major streaming platforms and you can listen to it below. J. Cole has been working on the album for some time now and fans have been expecting its arrival since it was first made known to the public back in March 2020 during a festival.
Everything went quiet after the big announcement as the attention of the world was turned to something else, the covid-19 pandemic which destabilized many industries if not all but now things are finally going back to normal and plans for the album’s release are back on track.
On Tuesday, the Dreamville rapper announced that the album will be dropping on Friday, May 14th. Today we listen to the first song Interlude from the album.
