Stream GoldLink Ft Maleek Berry & Bibi Bourelly – Zulu Screams
DMV rapper GoldLink links up with Nigerian hit maker Maleek Berry and vocalist Bibi Bourelly who also wrote Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” song for his latest single “Zulu Screams” off his forthcoming album.
These is his second song of 2019 following “Got Muscle,” which arrived in January. The DMV artist also appeared alongside Miguel on “Got Friends.” His most recent album, At What Cost, came out in 2017 and featured the Grammy-nominated smash “Crew.”
The song opts to move away from the three-verse song structure, instead opting to close on a moment of musicality. Such decisions go a long way in separating GoldLink from the pack, revealing a songwriter unafraid to examine the ever-shifting lines between genre conventions. While details surrounding the upcoming GoldLink album have yet to truly manifest, a press release for “Zulu Screams” points to “much more” yet to come this summer.
