Following the arrest of YG on Friday morning at his Chatsworth home, celebrities such as Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and many others have taken social media to advocate for the rappers release.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s arrived at YG’s LA San Fernando Valley home with a search warrant related to an on-going criminal investigation involving a robbery.
He was reportedly arrested after the raid. He is currently being held on a $250,000 bail at the Men’s Central Jail. He is expected in court for arraignment on Jan. 28.
YG is currently scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, as part of an all-star tribute to his late collaborator Nipsey Hussle. It looks like he might not be a part of that now.
