Frank Ocean Dear April and Cayendo

We are experiencing a huge stream of new music these Friday, Frank Ocean decides to add his name to the list by offering two new singles ‘Dear April’ and ‘Cayendo.’

“Dear April, the only face in the crowd that I know // Dear April, are you watchin’ him? // Are you watchin’ him dance? // Dear April, we were safe for a while // We were safe as the years flew by // You could take two strangers // And then let them ride // At a certain place and time // Like you took these strangers.” He sings on Dear April.

‘Cayendo’ however takes a different form, it shows the singer transform on the song in Spanish, it first premiered at Frank’s PrEP+ night club event in New York City on October 17th, 2019.

“No hablará de mi // Ni hablará de esto // Lo que él quiere de ti, yo no se lo negaría // Si esto no me ha partido, ya no me partiré, nunca // Si puedo soportar lo que siento, ¿por qué me ‘toy cayendo?.”

He continues, “You stood me up, you lay me down // You know too much, I can’t be proud // I still really, really love you, yes I do // When I still really, really love you, like I do // If you want, then I will // If you can’t, then I will // Is it love to keep it from you.”
