‘Fast & Furious 9’ Release Date Pushed Back By A Year

‘Fast & Furious 9’ is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of 2020 but now it seems we will have to wait for about a year now before its arriver due to coronavirus pandemic.
According to reports from Variety, Universal Studios has now moved Fast 9 from its original date of May 22, 2020, to April 2, 2021 in the United States.
“We feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga,” Diesel said in a statement. “That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May.”
F9 boasts an ensemble cast featuring Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Cardi B.
coronavirus pandemic has also forced the NBA to cancel the remainder of 2020 season.
