Drake is currently gearing up to release his highly anticipated sixth studio album and the follow up to his 2018’s Scorpion project which is titled ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ as he earlier revealed when he shared the star studded video to his Lil Durk collaboration “Laugh Now Cry Later.”
“Laugh Now Cry Later off my next studio album CERTIFIED LOVER BOY ,” he wrote on Instagram for his 70 million followers. The video also features appearances from Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., and Marshawn Lynch.
Drake is clearly seen in the video wearing a Nike jersey with the title Lover Boy referenced on the back and the initials “CLB” shown at the end of the visuals which is directed by Dave Meyers.
News of the album first caught our attention back in April when the Canadian made mention of it during his European tour.
“This is one of my favorite places to be in the world,” he told the crowd during a show in London. “So I what I’ma do, I kinda started night last night to be honest with you. But I think what I’m going to do after this is go home and I’ma make a new album so I can come back to London next year and so we can do this again.”
We have seen the rapper put out two amazing projects so far, his last project was his surprise Dark Lane Demo Tapes mixtape, released back in May.
We are still not sure when the album will be arriving but Aubrey recently revealed that the project will be hitting streaming platforms this summer. “My 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6. soon fwd.” So far, only the Lil Durk collab has surfaced.
