Dr. Dre has left a permanent mark on the music industry, working with the finest artist and producers. Today he releases his December 15, 1992 debut album ‘The Chronic’ exclusively on streaming platform Tidal in master quality.
The album served as his first solo project after his departure from hip hop group N.W.A and its label Ruthless Records over a financial dispute.
‘The Chronic’ named after a slang term for high-grade cannabis, also did very well on the charts peaking at number three on the Billboard 200 and certified triple platinum.
With the project previously being available on streaming platforms, TIDAL takes the listening experience up a notch with Dr. Dre’s LP. Officially being available on the platform, a bonus comes with the LP landing in Master quality. Being the highest sound quality found across similar streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify, TIDAL wins.
