Today, 20, April, 2019: Fifth Harmony’s member Dinah Jane is here with a brand new solo three-track project and it’s titled “Dinah Jane 1” and its totally worth your time.
The EP is released through record label Hitco on today and is accompanied by the single release of the track “Heard It All Before”.
“I’m so much of a closed book. I do not want anyone knowing what’s going on in my life,” Dinah shared with Billboard about her new music. “I’m very private and to myself, but I found out that expressing my story and what I’ve gone through is so much easier to come out through my music. It was very therapeutic, and in making these records, I found so much comfort and such relief. I feel so relieved just getting this all off my chest.”
Last year Dinah Jane launched her solo career with the mega-infectious “Bottled Up.” Featuring vocals from Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy, the vibrant bop paid tribute to her roots in Fifth Harmony with a couple clever references to earlier hits (“Work From Home” and “Worth It”).
