Conway The Machine puts himself on the front lines on his latest offering titled ‘Front Lines.’ The new song addresses the painful killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer provoking protests all over America in demand for justice and change.
“In the middle of the covid pandemic, I’ve been quarantined finishing up FKTG. The Amaud situation and Breonna situation and now George Floyd has brought me so much pain and anger because I’m a black man: a father a brother, I have 2 sons. I wanted to give you the mindset from the protester’s point of view and I was able to paint that picture perfectly over this Beat Butcha production.” He shared.
“All my niggas outside, they outside // All my niggas outside, we outside (We outside) // If it’s pressure then we gon’ slide (We slidin’) // Hope you got your gun, you know I got mines (Brr, yeah) // If it’s pressure then we gon’ slide (Slide) // All my niggas outside, they outside (Yeah) // All my niggas outside, we outside (Yeah, yeah).” He raps on the new song.
