chance the rapper snl performance

Chance the Rapper joined a very small group of individuals who have hosted and performed on SNL ( Saturday Night Live) as musical guest. The rapper who made his SNL debut back in 2015 also spoke about his double-duty experience during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

“It’s crazy. It’s a lot of moving around. It’s a lot of duties and responsibilities. But it’s amazing,” he said. “Honestly, it’s been a dream for me since I was a little kid. My older cousin Chris used to have all this MC Hammer memorabilia … he had all this stuff, and one of them was a VHS recording of MC Hammer hosting and [serving as the] musical guest to SNL, so I always wanted to do that.”

The rapper who released his debut album “The Big Day”, July 30 then took to the stage to perform his hit tracks “Zanies and Fools” and “Handsome”.
