Cardi B has gone from being someone whose story wasn’t known to becoming an icon in women’s hiphop, her last album “Invasion Of Privacy’ saw the rapper take home numerous awards and notably still going strong on the Billboard 200 chart. As of this week, the album placed between newer projects from Lil Tjay and Tool at No. 48.
She has being busy lately with Paris Fashion Week this week, doing several events and making high profile appearances and gaining international grounds in the fashion world.
The Atlantic Records & Quality Control Music artist took to Instagram to give fans updates concerning her next album, also revealing the name of the album to be “Tiger Woods“.
“I don’t know if I’m even going to drop music this year anymore, because everything that I’m working on right now is going straight to my album, and I think I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods. I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods, because remember when everybody was talking sh*t on Tiger Woods and then he f*cking came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’m going to name my album.”
No doubt Cardi has can relate her story to that of Tiger Woods, she has gone from being insulted to becoming almost every bodies favorite, and gaining massive recognition worldwide. Her last album took home Best Rap Album honor at the 61st Grammy and now she is looking forward to claiming all the respect that comes with it.
“I didn’t have no words to say but when I went home I started reminiscing on what I went thru during that period,” Cardi said back in August of bagging the award. “I was like YEA BITCH YOU DESERVE THIS SHIT. [And] until this day my shit still charting.”
The rapper also revealed that she is 3-songs into the album and she is not sure whether she will be releasing any music these year or not but will hope she changes her mind.
