We have not gotten any new music from Boosie for some time now, today the iconic rapper returns with a new song titled ‘Period’ and it features DaBaby.
Last year the Baton Rouge rapper graced us with the release of his 14 tracks project ‘Goat Talk 2’ which featured a single appearance from Laydee V. We had hopes of more releases before the year ran out but nothing came through, probably because of the covid-19 pandemic. With the release of ‘Period’ we may be getting some new tunes before the year runs out.
Boosie also revealed a few days ago via social media that he has won the war against cancer which he has been battling a some years now. “I’M CANCER FREE,” he tweeted on Wednesday, March 17. “#Tearsofjoy. Thanks to everybody [who] said a prayer for me #GODISGREAT.”
“Ayy, Boosie, mane, go give me that goddamn fifteen-hundred I gave you for that feature so I can go put it on a nigga head, real quick / Nah nigga, you gettin’ a whole lot of money, and I’ll tell you what / You just give me five Gs, and my lil’ partner gon’ handle that, and we gon’ call it even / I ain’t fuckin’ wit’ you bruh / I’m gone.” The two joke around on the outro of the song, referring to $15,000 DaBaby paid him for a feature during his earlier days.
