Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have been at the forefront in demand for justice George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and many others, spending thousands of dollars in the process to bail those arrested during the protest. Jay-Z even went to the extend of lending his private jet to an attorneys for the Arbery family so they could make the first court hearing.
Today Bey has released her first single since signing with Sony/ATV in a ground breaking deal. The song is titled ‘Black Parade’ and it comes on a celebratory day in honor of Black music month and Juneteenth which commemorates the end of slavery.
