Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have been at the forefront in demand for justice George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and many others, spending thousands of dollars in the process to bail those arrested during the protest. Jay-Z even went to the extend of lending his private jet to an attorneys for the Arbery family so they could make the first court hearing.

Today Bey has released her first single since signing with Sony/ATV in a ground breaking deal. The song is titled ‘Black Parade’ and it comes on a celebratory day in honor of Black music month and Juneteenth which commemorates the end of slavery.

“I’m goin’ back to the South // I’m goin’ back, back, back, back // Where my roots ain’t watered down // Growin’, growin’ like a Boabab tree // All fly, above of the ground, ancestors put me on game // Ankh charm on gold chains, with my Oshun energy, oh // Drip all on me, woo, Ankh or the Dashiki print.” Beyonce sings on black parade.

Beyonce recently collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on “Savage” Remix.
