Azealia Banks has been on and off for some time now, she announced her retirement a while back but we are glad to see her return with a new song titled ‘Black Madonna’ via YouTube, Apple Music or SoundCloud and it features Lex Luger.
“Black diamonds, blue dollars and purple clouds for black Madonna That Calico shred ya fitted, I got it if you want it // Guess I’m poppin ya topper like Jiffy Pop, jelly ya donut // Lil’ mama’s a rider, she get them dollars and get going // Put li’l mama in Prada/lacy Provocateur, he zonin’ // I’m choppin’ that powder, that Ooche Wally, get’ em open.” She graces us with her splendor on the new track.
In more recent news, the Harlem rapper begged Ice Cube for help to get music royalties from an album that she never saw. She claims music executive and Cube’s longtime CubeVision business partner, Jeff Kwatinetz, stole her bread and dropped her like a bad habit because she was too vocal about police brutality.
““@icecube Can you please ask Jeff Kwatinetz to release my royalties? It’s been six years and he stole ALL OF MY MONEY on an album interscope/polydore paid to produce. This white man robbed me and dropped me in the middle of shooting a movie because he felt I was being too vocal about police brutality.””
