Diz Does is who was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. With his genre being a mixture of Dark Trap and Rock Rap, he delivers his music with a melodic flow and an aggressive unique sound. It’s something different for sure. He started making music at the age of 11 with his father. Diz Does remembers backing up his dad at his shows when he performed positive rap music. This then leaded up to them starting a group called EM3 Productionz and they went all around the nation trying to spread a good message. He recently released his single, “Rewind” and you can stream his music on all streaming serves!
Why is music a passion of yours?
Good question. My passion is simple. I love good music. Today there isn’t enough fire and I want to change that. I have had a love for music since I can remember. My first favorite song I can remember is Michael Jackson “Remember the times” Then it became freak nasty “da dip”
I just want to get back to that. Make music that will never fade away.
What is your biggest motivation?
my family, my kids. This life is short. I want to create generational wealth for all four of my kids. I want to be able to take care of my spouse and our parents. They all deserve to retire right now. It would be awesome to come back and help my community as well. I have a passion for kids and education. I feel like there is a gap that can be bridged for inner-city youth and knowledge.
What impact do you want to make in the music industry?
I want to create a new sound, new lane in the rap industry. Hopefully by doing so ill create new fans for the artform and unite people across the nation. Too much division out here.
What is a goal of yours when it comes to your music?
I want a record deal. I can’t do all this on my own. I want my wife to stay happy so I def can’t put enough much time into the music if it’s just on the side from my everyday grind. I want to be a full-time recording artist I want to do this for a living.
If you collab with any artist in the industry, who would it be?
I can say that Gucci Mane, Drake, and J Cole are the artist I listen to on a daily basis.
What are you most known for?
My voice. I have always been told I have a unique voice. I also don’t try to rap or sound like anybody. Diz Does.
