We have managed to compile a list of our best albums of 2020, although there have not being a steady flow of new albums due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that have put the music industry on hold, forcing most artist to postpone there album releases.
Over the past four (4) months we have seen releases from Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, NBA Youngboy, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Halsey, Eminem, Mac Miller and many others. Below are our favorite albums of 2020 so far according to our editors, in no particular order.
Justin Bieber (Changes):
Justin Bieber released his highly anticipated studio album ‘Changes’ (February 14). The 17 track project features the likes of Travis Scott, Post Malone, Clever, Lil Dicky, Kehlani and Summer Walker.
Eminem (Music To Be Murdered By):
Eminem on January 17 surprised us with a new album titled ‘Music To Be Murdered By,’ just 17 months after his Kamkazi album. The album inspired by Alfred Hitchcock with guess appearances from Royce 5’9, Black Thought, Q-Tip, Skylar Grey, late Juice WRLD, Ed Sheeran, Slaughterhouse (minus Joe Budden, of course), and more.
Lil Uzi Vert (Eternal Atake):
Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Eternal Atake’ has clearly been one of the most anticipated on 2020, the Philadelphia rapper on March 6 released the album with no guest appearance, the deluxe edition however featured Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Gunna, Young Nudy and many others.
